VG-21 Newsletter #1
April 29, 1990
Dear 2150 Owner:
I'm writing you with regard to forming a very informal group made up of Varga, Shinn and Morrisey pilots for participation in fly-ins and the hangar flying that always accompanies pilot and aircraft-type get-togethers. I've had my Varga for approximately two years and still have not become accustomed to the interest it generates wherever I go. And I'm sure your aircraft is greeted the same way!
The proposal is to schedule three or four gatherings a year and if there is enough interest, I would be willing to produce a newsletter and generally act as group coordinator. To get things "winging", you and your favorite back-seat-pilot are invited to a fly-in to Watts Woodland on Saturday, May 19 for lunch, planning to arrive between 11:00 and 11:30 a.m. There parking at the end of the runway by the country club. Althou the club is private, people who fly in are very welcome. The lunchroom couldn't be more informal, the food is good, and the prices are right.
So far, we ve located seven other 2150 owners all in the general vicinity of the Bay Area. This memo Is going to the following:
Len Peters (Schinn N5127V) Carl Sigg (Varga N8356J) Alex Vucetich (Varga N5078V) Janice Wild (Varga N?????)
Joe Conner (Varga N691JC) Rolf Lehmann (Varga N4602V) Gene Parker (Varga N82725) Pat Beery (Varga N5062V) *
* (That's me)
If you're not able to make the May 19 date, but want to participate in future outings, please write or call. Also, if you know a 2150 owner not on the above list, please let me know so we can share this invitation with them.
Hope to meet you on the 19th!
